My name is Jeremy Rowan, let me tell you a little bit about myself and my  campaign for Blue Springs City Council.

I am a business owner, home owner, husband and father of two kids. I have been a member of the Blue Springs Chamber of commerce for the last three years helping advocate and support businesses of all sizes in our community.  I am a member of the Blue Springs Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association helping raise funds for the amazing BSPD outreach programs. I am an active member in my youngest school PTA and high school band parent. Though my business we host multiple fundraisers to benefit Hope House and our local Community Service League. I have owned the The Dojo/JR Karate Kids for 20 years, promoting the tenets of respect, self control, integrity, perseverance and indomitable spirit to students of all ages. Helping them find their “better selves”. Helping them overcome physical, mental and emotional challenges that might otherwise hold them back. I believe in leaving people and places better off after I’ve been there. I hope to do that as your elected official. I want to help lead our great city to be its best.

When elected to city council I will focus on our future. I will continue to attract, support, and grow new businesses while maintaining and bolstering established businesses. I would also like to direct more funding to our under paid/overworked public service men and women. We need to be more supportive of the working class in our community and focus on building and fixing our current infrastructure.  

If you believe like I do that we some change in leadership, I’m asking for your help to win this race. I will need your help to build a better Blue Springs.

Right now we are in the beginning stages of the campaign. We are recruiting a team of extraordinary people to get our message out. We are going to need people to donate, knock doors, make calls, post/re-post on all social media, and remember to tell your friends to VOTE ROWAN on April 8th.
